Clarinets:  Tiffany Valvo 

Clarinetist Tiffany Valvo has been passionate in developing her career as a charismatic performer and teacher. Since winning her first orchestral job at age twenty-one with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, Tiffany has continued to seek out opportunities for musical growth. Her musical experiences include playing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, international tours with the American Wind Symphony Orchestra as both performer and tour manager, participating in the Brevard Music FestivalBoston University Tanglewood Institute, the Eastern Music Festival, and the CCM Spoleto Festival in Spoleto, Italy. Tiffany is equally dedicated to education and outreach, currently holding a teaching position at the Eastman Community Music School.

A dedicated performer of contemporary music, Tiffany frequently performs with various new music ensembles where she has played under conductors Brad Lubman, Alan Pierson and Jeffrey Milarsky. Most recently, Tiffany played at the “Creative Dialogue V” symposium with the Sante Fe Chamber Music Festival in Sante Fe, New Mexico where she was coached by composer Magnus Lindberg. In March of 2012 Tiffany performed music of living composers from Prague, Vienne and Budapest at the Kennedy Center in conjuction with the Kennedy Center's Conservatory Project.

Tiffany holds a Bachelors Degree in Clarinet Performance from The Florida State University and an MM in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music where she is currently pursuing a DMA. She studies under and is the teaching assistant of Jon Manasse. Her other teachers have included Kenneth Grant, Frank Kowalsky, and Deborah Bish..
